Session

The Session consists of the pastor as moderator and the elders in active service. One elder serves as the Clerk of Session.  The Session of First Presbyterian Church has eight committees which break the work of the Session into manageable areas of responsibility.  The committees make recommendations to the Session, and the Session as a whole makes all decisions together.

Session meets once a month.

Committees

An Session member chairs each committee. The committees manage the program and mission work of the church. All committees work with the pastor and are encouraged to enlist members of the congregation to serve on their committees.

The committees meet as needed.
