We have an active program for youth between 6th and 12th grade.
We have about twenty youth, who represent six different school districts.
Youth group meets roughly every other week. (See details below.)
At least once a month we offer social or service opportunities; swimming, Christmas caroling, mini golf, snow tubing, etc. Every summer there is an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus and go and serve on a mission trip.
The youth ministry program at First Presbyterian Church, is Christ-centered and relationship based. It is a safe place to be who you are and all are welcome. Because we are small we are able to offer a great deal of flexibility to meet the needs of the individual youth and families.
At First Presbyterian youth are encouraged to share whatever gifts they are discovering in themselves: singing, teaching, leading worship, etc.
1 Timothy 4:12 "Don't let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity."
All Junior and Senior High Youth (Grades 6 – 12) are invited to youth group, which meets in the youth room downstairs at the church.
Come, bring a friend (please remember that everyone who participates must have a completed parent consent form on file with the church office), bring an open mind and an open heart, deepen your relationship with Jesus and have FUN!

Youth Education Opportunities
Youth Sunday School is 10:20 - 11:15 am on second and fourth Sundays during the school year. Check the church calendar to see which Sundays there is class.
We offer Confirmation class for 8th and 9th graders every other year.
Each youth must have a parent/guardian release form on file at the church to participate in youth group or attend any of the youth activities. Please print a copy, fill it out, make sure that parents and youth sign it, and bring it to your first youth event.
