ABOUT US
We are a small historic congregation with a mix of young and old, suburban and rural. Our church building is located in the Twin Cities West Metro area in Minnesota. We seek to continually grow in our relationship and hope in God. Come as you are: jeans, t-shirt, dress, or tux. We welcome people of all denominations and backgrounds.
There is always room for you!
Our Mission Statement
We are a nurturing community of believers, centered in the word of God, spreading the love of Christ, caring for people and all creation.
Our Core Values
Our goal is to nurture each individual’s relationship with God. We work towards this through worship, fellowship, Biblical teaching built on our faith in Jesus, and giving of ourselves to those within our congregation and beyond.
We welcome and respect all individuals.
“Love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:39
We foster a relationship with Jesus through worship.
“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.” Hebrews 12:28
We value education through Biblical teaching.
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17
We encourage each other on our faith journeys.
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. …let us encourage one another…” Hebrews 10:24-25
We celebrate fellowship with our church family.
“Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people…” Acts 2:46-47
We embrace our role as God’s servants.
“…so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us.” Romans 12:5-6
We strive to be generous stewards of God’s gifts to us.
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven…For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:19-21
We ask God to make each of us a willing, humble and confident follower of Christ whose life draws others to faith.
